Care Instructions
For Staple Foods
- Store in a cool, dry place Most staple foods, like flour, sugar, salt, and yeast, should be stored in a cool, dry cupboard away from moisture and warm temperatures.
- Use airtight containers Use sealed containers or storage bags to maintain the freshness and taste of your staple foods.
- Keep away from chemicals Store non-perishable foods away from cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Avoid the stove Placing your spice rack above the stove can quickly reduce the quality of your spices.
For Frozen Foods
- Maintain proper freezer temperature — no higher than 0°F (-18°C). Use a refrigerator/freezer thermometer to verify the temperature if you’re unsure. This temperature is important as it inhibits the growth and multiplication of microbes present in the food such bacteria, yeasts and molds.
For Refrigerated Foods
- Temperature: Keep your refrigerator at or below 40°F (4°C). Use a thermometer to ensure your fridge is at the right temperature.
- Refrigerate quickly: Refrigerate perishable foods within two hours, or within one hour if they've been exposed to temperatures above 90°F (32°C)
Vicks VapoRub is a mentholated topical ointment designed to relieve coughs and minor muscle aches and pains. The 50-gram (1.76 oz) jar is a convenient size for personal use.
Active Ingredients (per 100g):
- Camphor: 5.25g – Cough suppressant and topical analgesic.
- Menthol: 2.82g – Provides a cooling sensation and acts as a cough suppressant.
- Eucalyptus Oil: 1.33g – Known for its soothing properties and cough relief.
Inactive Ingredients:
- Cedarleaf
- Nutmeg
- Petrolatum
- Thymol
- Turpentine
Uses:
- Cough Suppression: Apply a thick layer to the chest and throat to relieve cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with the common cold.
- Minor Aches and Pains: Rub on sore muscles and joints to alleviate minor aches and pains.
Directions:
- For cough suppression, rub a thick layer on the throat and chest up to three times daily. Keep clothing loose around the throat and chest to allow vapors to reach the nose and mouth.
- For muscle/joint pain, apply to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
Safety Information:
- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Do not use on wounds or damaged skin.
- Do not heat, microwave, or add to hot water or any container where heating water. Doing so may cause splattering and result in burns.
- Keep out of reach of children.
